  • Can I use the extra sauce left in the packaging?

    We recommend coating the meat in the sauce before opening the packaging by moving everything around with your fingers. Once the package is open, throw away the extra sauce.

  • Where does my meat come from?

    Your meats come directly from a second generation, family-owned butcher devoted to bringing you the highest quality foods straight to your door.

    Our meat is sourced only from the best US ranchers and prepared at our USDA-inspected facility. Well Seasoned controls the production process from start to finish so we are able to offer an unparalleled level of quality and service. We seek out ranchers who operate at our high standards. We stand behind all our meat and are excited for you to try it!

  • When should I defrost my meat?

    The best way to defrost is overnight! Place the meat in its original packaging in the refrigerator. This allows the meat to defrost slowly and maintain its texture. You can also defrost your meat in a bowl of water.

  • How long can I keep the meat in the refrigerator after it thaws?

    Meat is best eaten the same day that it is fully thawed since the sauces can over marinate the meat once it thaws.

  • How do I handle the dry ice?

    Leave your dry ice in its packaging and it will evaporate on its own.

  • What happens if there is a bone fragment in my meat?

    We do our best to make our meat boneless, but as it is a natural product, it is possible for some fragments or cartilage to be left behind. We are serious about our quality, so please let us know if you experience an issue.


  • Why do we ship our meat frozen?

    Frozen allows us to guarantee that your meat will be just as fresh as the day it was prepared! It is safer to ship frozen and the result is even better when you are ready to cook. Get the facts on frozen meat here.

  • How are the meats packaged?

    All of our products are individually wrapped and vacuum-sealed for easy cooking and to reduce waste. The box is packed with dry ice to ensure the meats stay frozen.

  • Where can I view/change my shipping info?

  • How long does it take for shipping?

    We ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with your box arriving in 1-2 days later via FedEx depending on your zip code. We aim to ship your box on the next ship day after you order, our order cutoff is 4PM the day before a given ship day. We will send a confirmation email when we have shipped your box!

  • Can I track my order?

    Once your order ships, you will be sent a confirmation email with your tracking number.

  • How do I cancel or delay my shipment?

    We process each order when your order is placed. Please reach out and we can address on a case by case basis and will do our best to cancel or delay shipment if the order hasn't already been packed.

  • What happens if my box arrives damaged or my meat is not cold?

    A thermometer is the best way to double check your meat. If your meat is above 40 degrees, please reach out and send pictures and do not eat the food until you hear back. We give a 100% guarantee on every order if there is any type of damage or faulty packaging. If you are not seeing any dry ice in your box - don't worry! Your food is safe in our packaging for hours after the ice has melted.

  • Is the packaging recyclable?

    Yes! Put both panels in your home recycling bin, along with the cardboard shipping box in which they arrived. It's that easy!

  • Where do I access my subscription?

    Login to your account and click on "My Subscriptions" to see your details, update future orders, and adjust shipping and payment information.


  • How do I apply a rewards coupon to an upcoming subscription box?

    First login to your account and visit the "My Subscriptions" section. Find your subscription listed in the "Active Subscriptions" section, then click Edit. If you scroll down to "Apply Discount" at the bottom you can apply a reward coupon there which will be applied to the next order. Note that you this will not adjust the price listed in the "Product" section but will be visible when you receive your order confirmation email.

  • Where do I access my rewards balance and redeem points for coupons?

    You can use the "Earn Rewards" widget at the bottom right of the page, access your Account and click on "My Rewards," or visit the Rewards link in the menu at the top of the website!
