Fully Cooked Pork Carnitas

Our super-versatile carnitas are equally great as tacos, over rice and beans or in a Cuban-style sandwich. Let your imagination run wild, simply shred the meat with your fingers and give it a quick sear!

Stovetop

STEP 1:

Thaw pork and remove from package to a plate, discarding liquid in the package. Gently shred pork to desired size with your hands.

STEP 2:

Preheat a non-stick pan over 8/10 heat. Add 1 tablespoon of high-heat cooking oil and add shredded pork to the pan

STEP 3:

Quickly sear the pork to give it some color until it is hot and the excess liquid has mostly dried up, about 2-3 minutes.
